Your Role
As a Performance Engineer, you will be a part of the Nextuple Engineering team that is building high quality enterprise class software for the retail industry.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Ability to program with one OO programming languages, such as Python, Java, C++
-
Good knowledge on any one scripting language such as Shell, Python
-
Good understanding of one Database either RDBMS or NoSql
-
Good Knowledge of Performance Engineering, Testing and Performance results analysis
-
A proactive approach to spotting problems, areas for improvement, and performance bottlenecks
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Perform load tests to validate system performance and stability.

Analyze tests results and work with Developers and Engineers to perform bug fixes.

Provide technical assistance to improve system performance, capacity, reliability and scalability.

Perform root cause analysis of performance issues and suggest corrective actions.

Oversee system performance lifecycle and identify key metrics for performance improvements.

Evaluate system performances and recommend improvements.
-
Generate periodic performance reports for management review.
DESIRABLE SKILLS
- 1 to 3 years of Performance Engineering, preferably in a Software product company.

Graduate or Post Graduate in Engineering / Computer Applications

Strong interpersonal communications skills.

Collaborate effectively with a distributed team.
- Familiarity with the retail industry domain.

Demonstrates attention to detail.

Is self-motivated and takes ownership of tasks and executes.
