Nextuple is helping retailers deliver perfect post purchase experiences to customers using AI/ML tools that are integrated with our products. We are looking for a Data-ML Engineer who can help us with building data ingestion pipelines, constructing ML infrastructure, building research models and developing A/B testing procedures for ML models..


Location: Bangalore


Job Responsibilities

  • Carries out key data engineering tasks and initiatives, under the direction of senior Data Engineers.

  • Create and maintain robust, modular data management platforms,  data pipelines , data pipeline orchestrators for optimal extraction, transformation and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources.

  • Identify potential data sources, validate these data sources and work with key stakeholders to integrate these data sources.

  • Maintain and label key datasets for use throughout the enterprise.

  • Create data tools for analytics and visualization

  • Work effectively with cross functional teams of engineers, product managers and domain experts.

  • Develop data systems and reporting tools to ensure that all the teams have the product, support, and operations data they need to make crucial business decisions

  • Ad-hoc analysis and presenting results

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience building and optimizing 'big data' data pipelines, architectures and data sets.

  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB, Cassandra, HBase.

  • Strong analytic skills related to working with structured, unstructured and geospatial datasets.

  • Experience with big data tools: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Airflow, Flink, Beam, Databricks, Dataflow etc.

  • Experience working with one or more of AWS, Azure, GCP and other cloud platforms

  • Experience with object-oriented/object function scripting languages: Python, Java, Scala, etc preferred.

  • Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management.

Job Requirements

  • At least 2-4 years relevant working experience

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science, operations research, statistics, mathematics, engineering or other quantitative fields

  • Solid theoretical foundation and industry experience in large scale data analysis/platforms deployed in production. .

  • Passionate about technology, demonstrates ability to generate new ideas and innovations; excellent in self-learning, problem analysis and solving; works independently and is proactive

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to describe complex data architectures to stakeholders.
